Privacy Policy for Circuit Sort
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Circuit Sort (the “App”) on mobile devices. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Summary
- The App is a casual puzzle game.
- Gameplay progress (for example, levels unlocked, scores, settings) may be stored locally on your device.
- We use Google advertising services (AdMob) to show ads. Ad providers may collect or use device and advertising-related data as described in their policies.
- On supported builds, we use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used (for example, feature usage), subject to safeguards described below.
- We do not knowingly sell your personal information in the “sale of personal information” sense used by some U.S. state laws.
2. Information we collect and how we use it
2.1 Data you provide indirectly through gameplay
The App may generate and store gameplay and preference data such as:
- Progress through levels, unlocked content, in-game currency or items (if applicable)
- Audio or display settings you choose
- Other data needed to run the game and restore your session on the same device
Where it is stored: This information is typically stored locally on your device (for example, in application storage). It is used to operate the App and provide a consistent experience.
Deletion: Uninstalling the App normally removes local app data from your device, subject to your operating system behavior.
2.2 Advertising (Google Mobile Ads / AdMob)
We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements (for example, banner or rewarded video ads, depending on the version of the App you use).
AdMob and its partners may collect and use information including, depending on your device, region, and settings:
- Device identifiers used for advertising and measurement (for example, Advertising ID on Android)
- IP address (which may imply approximate location)
- Device type, operating system version, language, and general technical diagnostics
- Ad interaction data (for example, impressions and clicks)
How it is used: To show and measure ads, limit fraud, and improve advertising relevance where permitted.
Legal basis (where required): Legitimate interests and/or your consent, depending on your region and the consent mechanisms shown in the App or by Google.
Third-party policies:
- Google’s Privacy & Terms: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
You can often limit ad personalization on Android via Google Settings > Ads, or your device manufacturer’s equivalent settings.
2.3 Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
On supported release Android builds, the App may send analytics events to Google Firebase Analytics (for example, to understand which features are used). Analytics is disabled in editor runs and in debug builds, as implemented in the App.
Analytics data may include:
- Event names and simple parameters describing in-game actions (for example, generic gameplay milestones)
- Technical information such as app version and platform information as provided by the analytics SDK
How it is used: To maintain and improve the App, understand stability and engagement, and plan features.
Third-party policies:
- Google Analytics / Firebase terms and privacy documentation are published by Google: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
2.4 Network access
The App may use network access to:
- Load and display advertisements
- Send analytics events (where enabled)
- Communicate with game-related services if added in future updates
If a feature requires internet access, it will not function while offline.
3. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions)
Where applicable privacy law requires a “legal basis,” we rely on one or more of the following:
- Performance of a contract: Providing the App and its core features.
- Legitimate interests: Operating, securing, and improving the App; measuring aggregated usage; fraud prevention for advertising.
- Consent: Where required for advertising or analytics, including through platform or partner consent flows (for example, UMP / GDPR messaging where implemented).
You may have rights to object, restrict, or withdraw consent where applicable (see Section 8).
4. Sharing of information
We may share information with:
- Google (Firebase, AdMob, and related Google services) as necessary to provide analytics and advertising features.
- Authorities if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising involves digital advertising uses that may be treated as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” in some U.S. state laws; you may have opt-out rights where applicable (see Section 9).
5. International transfers
If you are located outside the country where our service providers process data, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses adopted by regulators, or other lawful transfer mechanisms provided by our partners.
6. Data retention
- Local gameplay data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear app data.
- Analytics and ad-related data is retained according to Google’s policies and settings for the relevant products.
7. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, contact us at hallanhype@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete such information where required by law.
8. Your rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland, and similar)
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of certain personal data
- Object to certain processing based on legitimate interests
- Data portability (for information you provided and that is processed automatically)
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
To exercise these rights, contact hallanhype@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request.
9. U.S. state privacy rights (including California)
Depending on your U.S. state of residence, you may have rights regarding access, deletion, correction, and opt-out of certain “sales” / “sharing” / targeted advertising as defined by local law.
How to submit requests: Email hallanhype@gmail.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and describe your request.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights where prohibited by law.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect information handled by the App and our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice as required by law (for example, in-app notice or store listing update).
