Overview
StimPad is a sensory soundboard app. We do not require an account.
Favorites and settings are stored locally on your device.
The free tier shows ads. StimPad Plus (one-time purchase) unlocks the full library and removes ads.
Information we collect
- Local app data: favorites, visual effect preference, temporary unlocks, and purchase unlock state stored on your device.
- Analytics: Firebase / Google Analytics event data (for example screen views and sound plays) to understand usage and improve the app.
- Advertising (free tier only): We use Google AdMob (with mediation partners such as Unity Ads) to show banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. Ad partners may collect or process device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device/app info, and interaction data to deliver, measure, and personalize ads, subject to your consent and platform settings.
- Purchases: Apple App Store and Google Play process payments. We receive purchase confirmation, not your payment card details.
Advertising, consent, and tracking
On the free tier, ads are shown only after required privacy prompts are handled:
- iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS we may ask permission to track across apps and websites for more relevant ads. You can allow or deny. Denying tracking still lets you use StimPad; ads may be less personalized.
- EU / UK / similar regions (UMP): Where required by law (for example GDPR), we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form before ads are requested. You can change or withdraw ad consent later in the app under Settings → Manage Ad Consent when that option is available for your region.
StimPad Plus removes ads and disables ad requests. You can also reset iOS tracking in
iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Third-party services
These partners process data under their own policies. We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising partners may engage in “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context advertising under some US state laws unless you opt out via the in-app consent / privacy choices where offered.
Children
StimPad is a general audience app and is not directed solely at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
(or under 16 where a higher age of digital consent applies).
Data retention
Local data remains until you delete the app or clear app data.
Analytics and advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.
Your choices
- Purchase StimPad Plus to remove ads.
- Respond to ATT and UMP consent prompts; reopen ad privacy choices via Settings → Manage Ad Consent when available.
- Reset tracking preferences in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Email us to request deletion of support correspondence.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do.
