A quiet fidget for a shared desk

You want something to click, spin, or slide — and you do not want the whole row to hear it. Taptico is a set of metallic fidget toys that live in the iPhone Taptic Engine, so the sound stays in your hand.

When you’d use this

Open-plan office. Library. Class. A late coding session with someone asleep in the next room. Physical spinners, clickers, and pop-its are great at home and terrible when every detent is public. If your hands need a loop and your environment needs quiet, that’s the gap.

What it does

Taptico maps real-feeling toys onto the Taptic Engine: a combination lock with detents, heavy toggle switches, and a magnetic slider. Those three stay free forever. A one-time lifetime unlock adds a desk cube, spinner, zipper, pop-it, and more. There are no ads and no account.

It is a fidget, not a game with levels. You pick a toy, feel the clicks, and put the phone down when you’re done.

What it is not

  • Not a speaker-driven ASMR app. The “metal” is haptic, not a soundboard blasting into the room.
  • Not a subscription. Three toys are free; the rest is a lifetime unlock.
  • Not Android. Taptico is iPhone-only because it is built around Taptic Engine hardware.
