Rewrite the text before you hit Send
The message is typed. Your thumb is on Send. Something about the wording still feels too blunt, too intense, or just off. Spectrum Sync is a tone coach that sits where you already write — not another chat window you copy-paste into.
When you’d use this
Texts you will reread after they’re gone. Work chat that has to sound professional without sounding cold. Replies where directness is honest and still lands wrong. Anyone who overthinks Send, including autistic and neurodivergent writers who want a check on phrasing without handing the conversation to a bot.
What it does
On iPhone, Spectrum Sync is a custom keyboard. Switch to it with the globe key in Messages, Mail, WhatsApp, and similar apps. A pill above the keys flags tone and offers rewrites while the draft is still yours.
On Android, it is an overlay. Keep the keyboard you already like. The coach watches what you type in chat, SMS, social, and email, and flags phrasing before you send.
Setup is privacy-first: you choose what the coach can see. It does not send the message for you, and it is not trying to become your personality.
What it is not
- Not a generic AI chatbot. You do not brainstorm essays with it. You stay in the thread you’re already writing.
- Not a grammar-only checker. The job is tone and intensity — how the line might land — not commas.
- Not an autopilot. Rewrites are suggestions. You still tap Send, or you don’t.
